They place animals in carefully selected foster homes where they receive individualized care until they find their furever families.

Under Lauren’s leadership, Growls and Howls Animal Rescue has become more than a rescue. It is a mission-driven movement dedicated to elevating animal welfare standards, educating the community and advocating for responsible pet ownership. Through strategic outreach, fundraising and awareness initiatives, the organization works to reduce shelter populations while reshaping how communities view rescue animals. In addition to her work in hospitality and animal welfare, Lauren is a children’s book author.
